Center for Advances in Port and Terminal Management offers a 10 course framework (30-hour) the MS degree is designed to that students can tailor their degree towards practical skills and marketable knowledge areas.

Admission Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities
  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
    • Waived if undergraduate GPA is 3.0 or greater.

Degree Requirements

 

  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA
  • Complete 10 courses (3-credit-hour courses)
  • Of the 10 courses, at least 1 course from the Leadership, at least 6 Maritime courses and 1 of the 6 maritime courses must come from the Maritime Finance category.
  • Defend a final paper or project*

Engineering With Nature Certificate

 

 Engineering with Nature Certificate is designed as a the three-course series to introduce and explore the concept of engineering that takes advantage of natural environmental features, such as using oyster reefs for surge protection or marshes to protect from hurricanes. 

This certificate can be applied toward the Master’s degree in Port and Terminal Management.
