The 13th Annual O.U.R. Fall Conference at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ features an active Paper Competition with specific guidelines. A former Paper Competition winner at the EXPO 2026, Sarah Short, gives advice and guidance on writing a compelling paper for non-STEM participants. Moderator for the event is Cristian Bahrim.

Cardinal Ideas Pitch Competition

Have a business idea? Pitch it on Nov. 12 and win prizes of $5,000 for 1st Place, $3,000 for 2nd and $1,000 for 3rd. The 13th Annual O.U.R. Fall Conference at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ features a Paper Competition with specific guidelines. Undergraduate students from all academic areas can enter the competition with a reseach paper reflecting completed or original research projects following editorial guidelines.

The Office of Undergraduate Research invites all students from all academic areas to submit abstracts with new research or creative activities to the 13th Annual O.U.R. Fall Conference. The student participants can give a talk or a poster presentation. Visit the conference website for details.

McNair scholars receive research experience, financial and academic support, travel opportunities cultural engagement, graduate preparation and professional development. Eligible students should complete the online application.
