The Venture Center serves students, faculty, and the broader Southeast Texas community to build economic prosperity through entrepreneurship.

The Venture Center works with partners across campus to create and deliver innovative programs to support student entrepreneurs. Through pitch competitions, courses, seed funding, student organizations, Entrepreneur Club, Venture Fellows Program, and mentorship, The Venture Center is creating an entrepreneurial ecosystem in which students can start, build, and grow their ventures.
The faculty at Â鶹ÊÓƵ are working on cutting edge research that has the potential to shape industries, impact local communities, and lead to economic transformation throughout the region. The Venture Center works with faculty to secure external funding and to find commercial applications for their research.
The Venture Center does not stop at the campus’s edge. We partner with government and nonprofit organizations to bring the support, funding, and expertise that’s needed to make Southeast Texas a hub of entrepreneurial activity. Through one-on-one mentorship, pitch competitions, a start up incubator, and workspace, we are open to anyone with entrepreneurial aspirations in Southeast Texas.
