Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ President Represents Institution at National Higher Education Symposium

Dr. Taylor HeadshotÂé¶¹ÊÓÆµ President Dr. Jaime Taylor recently represented the university as a featured panelist at the Association of American Colleges and Universities Presidents’ Trust Symposium in Washington, D.C., joining higher education leaders from across the country to discuss expanding opportunity and strengthening public trust in higher education.

Taylor’s invitation to participate reflects ongoing work across Lamar’s campus focused on student access and success. During the session, she discussed the university’s emphasis on listening to students, building community partnerships and collaborating across campus to support student achievement and regional needs.

Taylor also highlighted Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s role in Southeast Texas, including its efforts to prepare students for careers and leadership within their communities. The discussion positioned Lamar among institutions recognized nationally for creating pathways that connect higher education to opportunity.
