Dr. Craig T. Olsen completed his Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Writing at Bowling Green State University in 2015 and joined Â鶹ÊÓƵ in Fall 2025 as the Writing Center Director. Though he is new to LU, he spent 2015 to Summer 2025 as writing center director/associate professor at another institution. His duties at LU include leading the writing center and teaching first-year composition and advanced writing/rhetoric courses.

Dr. Olsen's areas of study include multimodal literacy, digital rhetoric, internet culture, comic literacy, gaming literacy, public scholarship, disability rhetoric, creativity, fiction, and nonfiction.
